International Labour Day.
International Labour Day is observed every year to pay tribute to the contribution of the workers worldwide. And so, it is also called International Workers Day and as Kamgar Din in Hindi. It is observed on May 1 in countries including India, China, Cuba and many more.There are a number of theories about the origin of this day, but the most popular one says that on his day, the workers took a stand for themselves against the exploitation they were facing.However, in India, International Labour Day was first celebrated on May 1, 1923 in Madras (Chennai) by the Labour Kisan Party of Hindustan. And at this day, the Red Flag symbolizing Labour Day was used for the first time in India.
