Latest trends in the IT Industry.
The world is a fast-evolving place and changes every day. Technology is also a field in which something is invented every day, if not invented than improved. The IT industry is evolving at a rapid speed leaving some trends outdated.
1.Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been in news in recent years but it continues to be a trend. It affects our daily lives as how we live, play, and work. AI has developed ever since it came into existence including Machine learning. Artificial Intelligence is basically mimic human intelligence by machines. AI performs tasks like recognition of images, speech or patterns, and decision making. AI can do all these tasks faster and more precisely than humans.
2.Robotic Process Automation or RPA
Similar to AI and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is another technology that is rapidly developing. Applications, processing transactions, dealing with data, and even replying to emails are also done by RPA software. The repetitive tasks that were done by people before are now mechanized by RPA.
The movement of data and software from internal to external servers is called Cloud Computing. It allows data to be stored, managed, and processed, allowing companies and users to share pools of storage, networks, applications, and servers. Cloud Computing requires high software engineering skills as it requires coding. You can access information on any device connected to the internet through cloud services. Currently, the biggest Cloud Computing platform is Amazon Web Services(AWS). Other than this, Apple, Microsoft, and Google also use cloud computing.
When organizations move the bulk of data to offsite servers or the cloud, the risks of hacks and ruptures increases. Cybersecurity is a must-have in today’s world as you never know when you’re in danger and can lose a lot of data and money through thefts. After the cybersecurity has improved and alarmed in most of the IT industries, companies don’t underestimate their cybersecurity and keep it up to date to avoid any alarming incidents.
Blockchain is a recent technology used to store data that is often more secure than keeping it on a centralized server. The record of a transaction is called a ‘block’ and once it is completed, it is added to the ‘chain’ crating a digital ladder. Blockchain helps in registering log transactions digitally and also maintain a user’s intellectual property. Blockchain is gaining popularity as digital voting and identity management, encrypted database agreements are gaining much popularity.
These were 5 of the latest trends in the IT Industry but they also change and evolve with time. Technology never stops improving and improvising in the existing gadgets and other technical items.
